IMPROVISATION

Improvisation is storytelling with no props, costumes or script. Allowing the mind to be uninhibited with creativity and spontaneity. Improvisers tell the who, what and where of a story using no script or pre-written dialogue. Every action, intention, movement is instant and right for the scene.

There are 6 rules of Improvisation:

1. Never say "no". Always answer with a "YES AND..."
2. Your partner is the most important person in the scene, not you.
3. No bathroom humor.
4. Stay in the scene until the end. Never give up on you or your partner.
5. Use pantomime props to help tell the story.
6. Stay in the same location.
