Audience
Whether or not you actually become a director, designer or performer, you can always be a contributor to theatre by being an audience member. Your love of art and good storytelling will make theatre last for generations to come. Your support and encouragement will give other artists the opportunity to do what they love.

Director
|
The director is the boss. There are 5 things that the director is responsible for:
1. Reads and researches the script 2. Decides the play's theme. 3. Casts the actors and crew. 4. Collaborate with actors and crew. 5. Conducts rehearsal. The director shares advice with actors and guides the technical crew to tell the same story. He or she is the conductor of the lights, sound, performance, props, makeup, words of the playwright, etc. Annie Trailer |

Performer
The performer is equally important to all the other roles in theatre. Many sometimes tend to believe that the performer is the most important, but all roles are equally important. The performers carry the story and there are many qualities that make a great performer. These qualities are sometimes innate and sometimes they require lots of practice to perfect. Many activities and exercises help the actor to become better. These are taught by other acting teachers and performed at rehearsals to refine the performer. For any artist, practice makes perfect.
Qualities of the Performer:
P = PERFORMER
E = ENERGIZED (Full of energy)
R = RELAXED (Free of Tension)
F = FOCUSED (Unaware of distractions)
O = OBSERVANT (Notices the world around them)
R = REHEARSED (Sufficiently prepared & utilizes every second of rehearsal time)
M = MEMORIZED (Fun ways to memorize!)
E = EXPRESSIVE (Uses their entire body & mind to express the character)
R = READY (Always prepared & eager to perform)
